Development and implementation of a hardware and software system for monitoring and controlling special mobile objects

Objective: to develop a domestic hardware and software complex based on GPS (Global Positioning System), wireless communication, geographic information systems (GIS) and Internet technologies to solve the problems of monitoring and controlling special moving objects.

Main results of the work.

A prototype of a hardware and software complex for monitoring and controlling special moving objects has been created that provides: determination of the current coordinates of a moving object, data transmission by wireless communication, processing, analysis and display of situational information on an electronic map for decision-making, exchange of digital

information and voice messages between the operator and the moving object, as well as forecasting the availability of satellite navigation systems on the routes of moving objects.
