From 27 September to 1 October 2012, the international aerospace salon Aviasvit – XXI was held in Gostomel at the Kyiv Antonov airfield. The NSAU exposition presented the latest scientific research in the form of ready-made developments, stands and computer presentations. The Aerospace Centre presented developments based on the integration of INSS technologies. The greatest interest was aroused by the development of an integrated inertial-satellite navigation system device. Visitors to the exposition were offered publications on the scientific activities of the National Academy of Sciences specially prepared by the Scientific and Technical Information Department.  

On 5 and 6 April 2012, a team of 6 people from the Aerospace Centre paid a working visit to the State Enterprise ‘Orion-Navigation’ in Smila. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the scientific and production facilities of the enterprise and to identify areas and ways of further cooperation. Following the visit, a protocol on areas of joint cooperation was signed. Employees of the Aerospace Centre took part in a forum organised by Kontron. The forum was dedicated to the modern development and ideology of embedded computer technologies. Representatives of the companies shared their experience in development, research and operation: ‘Kontron-Ukraine, RTSoft, Kontron Modular Computer S.A.S., IVL Equipment and Engineering, Simmenron-Ukraine, Simmentron, and Kvarta Technologies.
