Development of a technology for precision trajectory measurements using signals from the global navigation satellite system

Objective: to create a technology and develop basic technological procedures for trajectory measurements of aircraft movement parameters for flight tests using the most accurate modern differential methods of positioning using GNSS satellite signals.

Main results of the work.

An analysis of aircraft approach and landing procedures using modern differential GPS/GNSS technologies for high-precision positioning of both static and moving objects is carried out. The tools and experimental studies of new flight procedures for approach and landing of aircraft with

  • precise trajectory control of aircraft movement can be provided anywhere in the Ukrainian airspace with decimetre accuracy;
  • assessment (certification) and monitoring of the actual performance of onboard and ground-based air navigation equipment.
